Senior Employment Law & Litigation Counsel Job responsibilities include: Serve as trusted advisor to various Human Resources (HR) and business groups on employment law and litigation issues, including all the areas noted above; Strategic, risk-optimized employment litigation management, managing outside counsel, budgeting, prompt and practical legal counsel, projects and training for all areas of US employment law; Identify changes in law and ensure compliance, supervise and manage agency charges, demands/complaints and pre-litigation matters, propose and drive/counsel guideline and practice changes, investigate and/or supervise investigation of complex employment complaints, and educate and train internal customers; Actively monitor judicial and regulatory employment law rulings, legislative and regulatory developments, and environmental factors relating to employment law, litigation and investigations that may affect Intel's business and provide employment law subject matter expertise to guide the Company's response; Opportunity to manage ELL's employment law litigation, advice and counsel for Intel Canada; Interact with other legal teams, Internal Audit, Corporate Security, Human Resources, Government & Corporate Affairs, the Ethics and Compliance Office and all other stakeholders on employment law, litigation and investigative matters.

The candidate should have Juris Doctor degree and active state bar membership for the state in which you work. Should have 10+ years of labor, employment, litigation, counseling, & compliance experience; or similar in-house legal experience; including strong substantive knowledge of a full range of labor and employment laws. Proven track record of successful litigation management and dispute resolution. Preferred qualifications: Trial and class/systemic/collective contested case experience strongly preferred. Strong investigations background highly valued in this position. Prior in-house employment counsel experience in the technology sector a plus. Excellent legal and business judgment, high standards, and impeccable integrity. Ability to think strategically and to give clear, concise, practical, firm, actionable advice in the face of ambiguity, uncertainty, emotion, and disagreement. Ability to identify unique solutions while maintaining consistent and efficient program results. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, responsiveness, excellent written and oral communication, and a sense of humor. Ability to effectively establish, influence, collaborate, and maintain accountability in key partner relationships and working teams. Proficient at synthesizing large amounts of information to a critical few important themes/issues and clearly communicating these to stakeholders and business partners. Ability to work well both independently and successfully collaborate with other legal and business colleagues in fast paced geographically dispersed organization. Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task, manage priorities and follow through on numerous projects simultaneously. Travel is required. California employment law and litigation experience and business legal counsel experience very desirable. International labor and employment experience desired.
