Counsel, Clinical Contracts Duties : Will draft and negotiate contracts in support of the companys clinical development programs, including confidentiality agreements, vendor service agreements and clinical site study agreement. Establish contracting parameters and procedures to ensure the consistent and timely delivery of high quality and compliant agreements. Advise internal clients on contract interpretation, dispute resolutions and legal and business risk. Provide legal review of informed consents. Implement a contracts management system to monitor, process and store all company contracts, as well as analyze and report on metrics related to the companys contracts. Think strategically about companys approach to clinical contracting and spearhead continuous process improvements. May provide legal support for general legal corporate and contracts needs.

Requirements : The candidate should have J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school; admission in good standing with any state bar (California preferred). 3+ years of clinical contracts experience at a nationally recognized law firm or as in-house counsel. Must have ability to work independently, while meeting aggressive deadlines and juggling multiple matters. Knowledge of U.S. and foreign regulatory and compliance matters relevant to the biopharmaceutical industry. Strong analytical thinking skills. Must have ability to work well with all levels of management and staff. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
