Associate General Counsel - Labor And Employment

Associate General Counsel - Labor and Employment The candidate will provide counseling on a variety of employment-related matters, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), employment discrimination and harassment claims, discipline and termination matters, reductions-in-force, wage and hour compliance and personnel policies and procedures. Provide expertise in the development, implementation and management of policies relating to the ADA, FMLA, and various state/local disability and leave laws. Deep experience relating to the substance and interplay of FMLA, ADA, and state/local leave laws is required. Supervise outside counsel in the defense of employment-related single plaintiff and class action lawsuits. Advise HR in the investigation of internal EEO complaints. Manage external charges, investigations and audits by administrative agencies, such as the EEOC. Prepare and conduct training programs for HR. Should have good academic performance at top tier law school. Must be member of bar of at least one state. Should have 8+ years of experience in labor and employment law with a focus on employment advice and litigation management.
