Corporate Compliance and Litigation Counsel The candidate will be responsible for a wide range of litigation and regulatory matters, will lead investigations, and will help develop legal strategy across wide subject matter areas. This attorney will also be tasked with providing general litigation and risk avoidance advice to different business owners within the organization. You must have flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and organizational needs. Responsibilities include managing pre-litigation, selecting and supervising outside counsel and alternative dispute resolution for a broad variety of customer- and competitor-related disputes. Responsibilities also include managing internal investigations and conducting targeted compliance trainings. Our attorney in this role will gain a deep understanding of companys products and services and will collaborate with cross-functional teams. Manage a broad range of domestic and international pre-dispute and litigation matters. Develop and implement litigation strategy supporting companys broader business goals. Supervise internal investigations, including interviewing witnesses, collecting evidence, summarizing findings, and advising on appropriate responses. Advise on pre-litigation matters and negotiate resolutions. Assist in contract negotiations with customers, vendors, and partners; provide advice on litigation related contract terms and disputes. Demonstrated experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects and conflicting demands. Develop company policies and practices to minimize legal and business risks. Conduct internal trainings with the broader business groups on legal compliance and best practices in areas such as FCPA, Code of Conduct and Compliance. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal business partners, such as Human Resources, Revenue Operations, Finance and Internal Audit. Ability to work independently to formulate and drive execution of legal strategies, including the ability to develop effective working relationships with business leaders across the company. Interest in taking on new areas of the law and broader responsibilities.

The candidate should have J.D. degree (or equivalent) and membership in at least one U.S. state bar (California preferred). Must have 5-7 years of attorney experience, which can include government, in-house, and/or law firm litigation experience. should have Litigation experience. Must have investigation experience. Prior in-house experience is desired. International experience is preferred. Should have Excellent academic credentials. Must have experience advising technology companies (either in house or as a client). Should have ability to quickly build rapport with business teams and to provide advice and strategy based on a practical approach to risk. Must have excellent written skills and ability to present information, including complex legal issues, clearly and concisely. Commercial litigation experience is required. IP litigation (patent prosecution, trade secret, trademark, and/or copyright) experience a plus.
