Senior Corporate Counsel

Senior Corporate Counsel The candidate will draft, review and negotiate a wide range of contracts, identifying and prioritizing high-risk and mission-critical transactions. Serve as legal advisor to all functions, including but not limited to: human resources, commercial, medical affairs, marketing, manufacturing, development teams, as assigned. Draft, review and negotiate legal agreements with customers, vendors and partners. Support business development related transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures or other strategic relationships / transactions. Collaborate with R&D, IP, Compliance colleagues involved marketed products with responsibility for ensuring an aligned approach across multiple products. Review business materials (including brand plans, promotions, medical plans, training documents) requiring legal input and advising internal clients, partners and stakeholders on compliant strategies, plans and tactics. Closely align with other members of Legal Department and client groups to provide consistent advice across the company. Handle litigation and develop and implement brand protection strategies including competitor monitoring as necessary. Assist with other tasks in Legal Department as needed. The candidate should have JD degree. Must have 8+ years of relevant in-house experience. Outstanding academic record required. Strong negotiation, communication, administrative, and time management skills essential. Strong interpersonal and communications skills and experience in effectively working on and collaborating with business teams. Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively evaluate legal exposure, manage risk and develop creative, client-focused solutions to achieve business goals within appropriate legal guidelines.
