Associate General Counsel, Head of Litigation

Associate General Counsel, Head of Litigation The candidate manages both outside counsel and internal counsel and staff in all aspects of litigation, arbitration, regulatory inquiries, regulatory enforcement actions, and dispute resolution. Frequently advises senior management on matters of litigation and regulatory risks, including enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, and corporate policies. Works directly with and advises customer-facing departments within the company in resolving customer disputes, improving processes, and enforcing company policy. Manages internal and external investigations into consumer disputes and employment matters. Works directly with regulatory agencies including licensing boards, consumer agencies, and attorneys general in connection with inquiries, consumer disputes, and enforcement actions. The candidate must have Active bar membership in good standing in a U.S. jurisdiction. Should have Juris Doctorate (JD) Degree and Bachelor's Degree. Must have 10+ years of litigation experience (preferably at a national, top-tier law firm or equivalent in-house experience at a large company). Should have in-depth, hands-on, and extensive experience in complex consumer and commercial litigation, arbitration, government enforcement action, and dispute resolution. Tenacious advocate in the areas of litigation and dispute resolution is required. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Should have demonstrated investigative abilities and experience. Must have proven negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
