Senior Corporate Litigation Counsel

Senior Corporate Litigation Counsel The candidate responsibilities will include: Oversight and day-to-day responsibility for certain litigation matters. Directly managing your litigation team, which could include inside paralegal, outside counsel, paralegals, and litigation support specialists, engineers and business managers. Developing and executing the litigation strategy, and independently managing all discovery efforts. Developing briefs, oral arguments and trial strategies, and generally providing overall guidance and direction to outside counsel. Lead dispute negotiations for various business teams from a legal perspective. Draft, negotiate and advise on IP indemnification clauses and other IP provisions. Manage IP indemnification requests. Assisting with efficiency and other improvements within the department. Providing counseling to the various business units on significant legal matters. Managing litigation costs, including outside counsel fees and discovery expenses. Assisting with special projects as needed. Should possess a juris doctorate degree from an accredited institution, a license to practice law in at least one state in the United States, and 8+ years of experience as a full-time litigator, with a preference for patent related litigation. Must have stellar oral and written advocacy skills. Should have experience drafting and negotiating complex IP licensing and settlement agreements. Must have experience in foreign patent litigation. Experience in patent litigation and in U.S. District Court, Federal Circuit, ITC and Inter Partes Review practice is preferred.
