Corporate Counsel

Corporate Counsel The candidate will have a broad range of responsibilities in supporting the legal department and advising the company on corporate affairs, product development, commercial transactions, advertising clearance, data privacy, and other matters. Will structure, draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial, licensing, development and advertising agreements. Work cross-functionally to identify risks and provide strategic, practical and creative legal and business advice. Develop, improve, and maintain contract templates, standard forms, corporate policies and processes, and training programs.

The candidate should have a J.D. degree from top law school and California Bar membership. Must have 3+ years of relevant experience working in a top-tier law firm or in-house legal department (ideal candidates will have a combination of both). Strong working knowledge and experience working with intellectual property and legal issues relating to media, marketing, advertising, IP, privacy and digital products is required. Experience structuring, drafting, and negotiating a wide variety of development, technology, licensing, publishing, marketing and commercial agreements is needed.
