Counsel - Litigation The candidate will be overseeing responses to subpoenas and overseeing outside litigation, including but not limited to responding to discovery demands, attending depositions and/or trials, and resolving cases. Providing regular reports to senior management regarding the status of litigation and related matters

The candidate should have JD degree with a record of high academic achievement in the undergraduate level and in law school preferred; member of at least one state Bar. Must have 2-6 years of legal experience in the litigation area, preferably with a well-established law firm and/or corporate legal department. Experience managing attorneys and/or staff. First or second chair trial and arbitration experience is preferred. Practical litigation experience and experience in related areas sufficient to independently lead investigations, evaluate claims asserted against the company, select and supervise outside counsel, develop overall case strategy, and provide advice to Company executives. Strong management and leadership capabilities. Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and leadership skills required. Strong verbal and written communication skills; acute attention to detail. Strong leadership skills and the knowledge and judgment to interact effectively with senior management of the company on issues that may have significant impact on the Company.
