Real Estate Compliance & Regulatory Counsel

Real Estate Compliance & Regulatory Counsel Duties: Advise a broad range of stakeholders about state real estate licensing laws, MLS rules, and other state and federal regulations affecting the residential real estate industry. Develop policies, procedures, and a variety of agreements related to real estate services. Develop, review, and negotiate vendor and partnership agreements related to real estate services. Review company marketing materials. Assess and monitor compliance with rules and regulations, develop solutions to streamline operations, and provide training to impacted teams. Guide the companys relationship with REALTOR associations and state agencies. Assist with corporate governance matters. Support the development of real estate technology tools. Additional research and projects, as needed.

Qualifications: JD Degree. 5+ years' experience practicing law. Experience working directly in real estate licensing law. A solid understanding of the rules and regulations applicable to real estate brokerages. Experience with mortgage products, real estate development, and real estate finance desired. A strong work ethic and a drive for innovation. Ability to maintain strong working relationships with demanding internal clients. Proactive and practical problem-solver. Detail oriented. Confident, mature, and calm under fire. Expertise with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and online research tools.
