Corporate Counsel, Supply Chain And Real Estate Responsibilities: As part of the legal team, will be expected to actively provide legal advice on issues that arise within or affect supply chain and real estate practice, and facilitate compliance with all applicable laws and corporate policies. Functioning as primary attorney handling information technology procurement, and leading the legal review and negotiation of a wide range of information technology agreements, including enterprise software licensing, application service provider, distribution/reseller, software as a service, development, content licensing, hardware procurement, and communications infrastructure agreements; Negotiate and Draft Commercial Agreements - a) help business partners negotiate commercial agreements, including supply agreements, transportation and logistics agreements, commercial sales and distribution agreements, and services agreements; b) advise business partners on key provisions of agreements; c) assisting with RFQs and RFPs, as required, and d) reviewing existing systems and supplier contracts and helping clients review and prioritize current and future contract negotiation. Advise on Real Estate leases and agreements - a) support the Senior Director, Real Estate with legal advice commercial leasing and the acquisition and disposition of real estate; b) work closely with Real Estate Development, Engineering, Facilities, Tax and Finance personnel; and c) coordinate with outside counsel, as appropriate. Support Supply Chain Template Agreements & Policies. Developing, maintaining and refreshing IT and supply chain contract templates, as well as corporate policies and processes that impact supply chain operations; Division / Sales Support. Support, as needed, commercial sales, distribution, and customer supply arrangements arising from Divisional sales, brand and marketing activity, including compliance review of advertising, packaging, and marketing materials. Training Delivery. Providing training to employees who help negotiate IT and procurement contracts, and who work with suppliers on a regular basis; Support Outside Counsel - support and assist outside counsel handling specified supply chain and information systems matters. Execute Assigned Department Projects- execute assigned projects related to strategic departmental initiatives, including reporting findings, providing written reports and presenting work product.

Qualifications: JD Degree from well regarded, ABA approved law school. 4-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in-house, with experience reviewing a wide variety of information technology, transportation and procurement contracts. Real Estate law experience is preferred. Licensed to practice in at least one state. Extensive expertise in commercial law and information technology agreements. Experience with real estate and commercial transactions. Experience with public corporations. Ability to work in an organized, detailed manner under tight deadlines. Knowledge and familiarity dealing with complex business issues. Ability to grasp complex legal issues quickly. In-house experience with consumer products company preferred.
