Corporate Counsel The candidate will provide duties include: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts related to a broad array of business operations including sourcing, supply chain, managed services, human resources, consulting, construction, and real estate. Develop and implement contract processes, forms, operations, and databases to improve efficiency. Provide advice and counsel to our internal teams on a wide array of business and legal issues. Develop and implement training and education programs to train internal business stakeholders to make better, more informed business decisions. Develop and implement compliance programs, policies and training as needed based on legal and regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices. Drive awareness regarding the importance of compliance, identify areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, and undertake corrective plans to resolve issues. The candidate must have 4+ years of experience in employment law, real estate or corporate law. Must have experience advising senior management of complex, international organizations. Must have strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to understand complex legal concepts and analysis and translate those to non-lawyers to create practical processes, guidance and training. Must have prior success building relationships and communicating with diverse groups of people. Must have legal analytical skills, general business acumen and expertise in several of the core areas of work. Must have experience Google Suite (e.g., Sheets, Slides) and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word). Must have ability to multi-task and prioritize. Must have an excellent communicator able to explain complex technical solutions to non-technical teammates. Must be a clear and effective communicator in both conversation and written word, deeply empathetic toward your customer. Must have the experience to guide difficult conversations which result in clarity and achieving consensus.
