Compliance Counsel Duties: Support the continuous development and improvement of the compliance management system of all U.S. Porsche entities under the direction of the Assistant General Counsel, Compliance Matters to ensure Porsche U.S. entities comply with all laws and regulations pertaining to all their operations, including, Federal, state, and provincial laws; this responsibility may include, inter alia: Implementation, documentation and ongoing monitoring of the Local Compliance Management System. Assessment and identification of (potential) areas of risk and individual risks of compliance breaches. Regular examination of the effectiveness of defined compliance control measures. Regular recording and reporting as well as ad-hoc reporting of fundamental compliance breaches to the Local Compliance Officer/Chief Compliance Officer. Participation in the definition, coordination and/or implementation of process adjustments and sanctions in response to breaches identified. Topic related compliance advice and handling of compliance inquiries. Definition of training content and concepts (target groups, frequency of training, etc.) and conducting staff compliance trainings. Audit preparation and support. Develop, implement, and administer Porsche Group policies, particularly those relevant to corporate compliance matters, and/or Group Directives. Monitor laws, rules, and regulations and best practices affecting Porsches business in the assigned areas of responsibility and advise concerning changes in business practices required to conform to applicable law, Group requirements and best practices. Qualifications: Undergraduate (B.A. or B.S.) and Law (JD Degree) degrees from top institutions and unrestricted eligibility to practice law on behalf of a corporate employer in the State of Georgia are required. Admission to the bar of one of the 50 states required; Georgia preferred. 3+ years compliance experience in a law firm or as an in-house lawyer of a multinational company. Compliance certification or credential strongly preferred (CCEP, LPEC, etc.).
