Telecommunications & Acquisition Attorney Responsibilities: Provide legal support during the development of a new, innovative Department-wide COMSATCOM acquisition strategy. Review federal and department laws and regulations related to procuring COMSATCOM. Provide advice during negotiations of COMSATCOM leases and contracts. Review acquisition documents to identify any potential issues.

Qualifications: Juris Doctorate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. Extensive experience supporting federal telecommunications and/or acquisition efforts. Interim Secret or Secret clearance is required. Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills. Team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Must be deadline driven, fast paced, organized and detail oriented. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to give and receive candid feedback in an open, results-oriented environment. TS/SCI clearance is preferred.
