Counsel, Investigations & Compliance Responsibilities: Assess and investigate internal and external reports and allegations of potential violations of the Companys Code of Conduct, policies and procedures, and various laws and regulations, including gathering and reviewing information, interviewing witnesses and subjects, and preparing reports of investigations. Successfully partner with security, human resources, and law enforcement in connection with investigations. Advise leadership within the Law Department and the Companys business units regarding appropriate evaluation and escalation of cases. Develop and provide training to security investigators regarding investigative techniques, processes, policies, as well as interactions with law enforcement. Assist with developing, implementing, communicating, and maintaining legal and compliance policies and procedures for the Cable business to help promote an organizational culture of ethics and ensure the companys compliance with laws, regulations, company policies and contracts. Partner with business units to identify potential areas of compliance risk and vulnerability within Cable; develop and implement action plans for the resolution of problematic issues; and provide general guidance on how to avoid or address similar situations in the future. Prepare and assist with reports and briefings to business leadership regarding significant investigations, trends, and metrics. Assist with government contracts requirements and programmatic needs. Perform other compliance program-related duties as needed.

Requirements: Law Degree from an accredited US law school. Top 20% of class preferred. Law review/journal experience preferred. 3-5 years of experience as a lawyer with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of internal investigations, government investigations, and referrals and interactions with law enforcement. Prosecutorial experience preferred. Member of a state bar in good standing, with the ability to obtain a limited in-house bar license in Pennsylvania. Excellent writing and editing skills, including experience with drafting and editing substantial written work product. Prior experience holding a security clearance and/or ability to obtain a top-secret security clearance a plus. Experience managing others and an interest in team building. Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Demonstrated ability to analyze facts and identify issues, collect data/evidence, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and prepare reports. Ability to assess risks and identify internal control weaknesses and recommend impactful solutions. Ability to work effectively with all levels of management, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with consistently high quality work product. Ability to work across functions to enable other groups to take on and own compliance initiatives. Strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills; discretion in sensitive situations is a must.
