AVP/Counsel, Transactional Investment Lawyer - Real Estate

AVP/Counsel, Transactional Investment Lawyer - Real Estate Responsibilities: Partner with internal clients to analyze and structure investment opportunities. Review, analyze and negotiate transaction agreements. Manage transaction processes. Direct outside counsel in connection with transactions and other investment matters. Advise in complex investigations and litigation matters involving portfolio assets. Keep abreast of legal, regulatory and market developments; participate in industry organizations. Apply legal principles in a practical way to support and protect the company. Provide general corporate advice to support Investment Division operations.

Qualifications: JD Degree with 4 - 8 years relevant experience. Must be (or become) licensed to practice law in Massachusetts. Integrity, collegiality, team orientation, and professionalism. Strong analytical abilities, excellent judgment and superior communication skills. Prior work experience at a major law firm and/or in a corporate environment. Ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues in remote locations. Adaptability to shifting demands in an evolving environment.
