Senior Director - Corporate Counsel - Employment and Labor The candidate provides legal guidance to management concentrating primarily in employment and labor matters including litigation, administrative proceedings, contracts, advice and counsel and investigations. Manages outside counsel in single party employment litigation claims to insure result oriented, cost-effective results. Drafts and amends legal documents (e.g., contracts, response to demand letters, position statements or legal memoranda). Counsels management on legal requirements, corporate polices and procedures, best practices and strategies for managing litigation and risk exposure. Continuously identifies and implements process improvements in the delivery of legal services. Manages and provides strategic advice and assessment of non-compete, non-solicitation and confidentiality agreements. Develops strong partnerships with internal clients and cross-functional areas to achieve successful business outcomes. Develops and delivers training on various legal issues to client groups. May advise on labor issues including organizing efforts and collective bargaining agreements. Performs other duties as assigned.

The candidate should have graduated from an accredited law school with J.D. degree with a strong academic record, and admission to at least one State Bar. Must have 10 years of professional legal experience. Should have substantial relevant subject matter experience in one or more of the following fields: wage and hour compliance, OFCCP compliance, labor organizing campaigns and negotiation of mandatory bargaining issues, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, Title VII, regulatory compliance, contracts, regulatory compliance, and employment or labor litigation. Ability to travel extensively with frequent overnight stays is required.
