Senior Corporate Counsel

Senior Corporate Counsel The candidate will review, negotiate and drafting sales, vendor, real estate and employment agreements and contracts on behalf of the company. Will be advising on contract status, legal risks, and the legal liabilities associated with different deals. Responsible for day-today general corporate matters across the company. Provide advice, strategic support and education about corporate governance and other corporate matters, including preparation of board materials and policies. Developing and executing the Companys IP protection strategies and policies, including patents. Develop internal policies and procedures to ensure corporate compliance with existing legislation and regulations and preparing the company for any changes or emerging issues. Managing outside counsel relationships and expenditure. Reviewing advertising and marketing materials to ensure compliance with legal requirements. Potential to add the Company Secretary role over time.

The candidate should have a law degree from a top-tier law school. Admission to the California Bar is essential. Should have 5-8 years of experience gained in large law firm and/or in-house with major firm. Experience with corporate governance and general corporate matters needed. Knowledge of and experience with data privacy and security regulations essential. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization needed. Strong negotiating skills with both legal and financial/commercial issues essential.
