Lead Compliance Counsel

Lead Compliance Counsel Responsibilities: Demonstrate high standards of professional and business ethics. Recognize potential conflicts of interest and other issues implicating ethics and compliance. Provide advice and counsel regarding compliance oriented issues. Participate in development and management of matter-specific and annual budgets. Lead and oversee internal investigations. Lead in-person training sessions. Manage all staff reporting to the position so as to effectively recruit, train, evaluate and motivate, delegate and monitor their activities. Perform all activities in a safe manner and ensure the safe work practices of those supervised.

Qualifications: JD Degree or equivalent degree. 10+ years of relevant experience is required. Proven problem solver. Advanced knowledge of anti-corruption, antitrust/competition law, and economic sanctions. Experience leading and overseeing internal investigations. Experience leading in-person training sessions. Ability to manage conflict and find practical solutions without compromising values Excellent oral, written and presentation skills Significant travel will be required (15-25%). Preferred Qualifications. 15+ years of relevant experience is preferred. Previous experience working for the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Federal Trade Commission or the European Commission preferred. Previous experience working at a major law firm preferred. Previous experience working at a Multi-national manufacturing organization preferred. Previous experience working with mergers and acquisitions, minority investments, and joint ventures preferred.
