Senior Director, Senior Corporate Counsel Responsibilities This role requires strong leadership skills with the ability to provide hands on proactive and practical legal advice and support, together with strategic partnering capabilities with a global perspective, The role includes broad responsibilities and will: Manage and develop a team of in-house professionals in alignment with company and legal department goals and objectives; Partner with Autodesk WW Named Accounts, Customer Success and Procurement leadership to support quarterly business needs and assist in the development and implementation of new programs, offerings and business initiatives; Support and provide guidance for Autodesk consulting partner programs, and high-profile strategic and consulting agreements with Autodesks largest and most sophisticated customers; Continually identify process and training gaps, recommend remedial action and assist in the development and implementation of compliance and other corporate legal team led initiatives and programs; Advise on technology solutions, digital and social marketing, and digital and personnel based customer outreach activities in the customer success space to ensure consistency with applicable law and company policies and procedures; Collaborate with Autodesks other legal functions to draft and continually improve a broad range of complex sales and procurement agreements, playbooks, policies and processes related to SaaS and on-premises software direct and enterprise sales, consulting, services and customer success oriented business models; Provide counsel on a broad range of issues related to Autodesks evolving, data-driven customer success models and offerings, and a variety of strategic programs to evolve the customer experience; Partner with the Global Sales Operations and Marketing teams to develop and drive more efficient business models, sales processes and programs.

The candidate should have JD degree or equivalent degree from an accredited/recognized university, and bar membership in good standing. Should have 15+ years of combined law firm and in-house experience with a global public Company and/or experience working with Internet or high technology companies. Should be an experienced lawyer with sound legal and business judgment, who has worked with the sales function within the technology sector. Direct knowledge and experience in digital outreach and data. Knowledge of global data privacy regulation (e.g., GDPR, ePrivacy, PIPEDA, and various US state-level laws). Knowledge of laws related to data use and the management of legal risks associated with a variety of data analytics insights programs (including operational insights and customer-facing insights). Knowledge and experience related to SaaS and on-premises software, general IP and technology licensing matters, antitrust, marketing, payment systems, privacy and data security, and compliance desirable. Must be able to function independently, and work proactively as well as collaboratively and cross-functionally. Experience managing and developing a global legal team. Ability to work under pressure in an intense, fast-paced environment required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional judgment and creativity, with the ability to think strategically and give practical advice appropriately weighing legal and business objectives. Ability to handle ambiguity, juggle many matters at once and quickly shift from one situation or task to another. Strong executive presence, credibility and the ability to influence stakeholders. Excellent drafting, oral and interpersonal skills.
