Corporate Counsel The candidate will be responsible to support the Chief Executive Officer to interface with stakeholders and sponsors of the organization to provide clear and concise guidance for the organization. Develop and review contractual agreements in support of organizational growth with new business partners and potential physician employees. Review of contracts across all departments of the organization. Serve as Compliance Officer and provides direction and management of the compliance hotline. Develops, initiates, maintains and revises policies and procedures for the general operation of the compliance program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical or improper conduct. Identifies potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, develops and implements corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and provides general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future. Manage litigation and outside counsel. Serve as Legal counsel on cross-functional teams for special projects. Prepare and deliver presentations and agendas for internal and external company meetings in support of legal and business development activities. Align and prioritize workload in accordance with business strategy and objectives. The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctor. Master's level degree or higher-level certification (MBA/ CFA/ CPA) is preferred. 5-7 years of professional legal experience in healthcare, with direct experience in healthcare corporate and transactional law as well as healthcare compliance law is necessary. Demonstrated experience in project management, contract development and negotiation, and litigation management is critical. Experience and strong business acumen including working knowledge of corporate financial statements is essential. Should be highly proficient in MS Office: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
