Corporate Legal Counsel The candidate to join Legal Department. The primary responsibilities for this: Working closely with leadership within both the Legal and Procurement Departments to ensure that the Companys vendor contract review, negotiation and approval process is efficiently managed and conducted in accordance with the Companys overall risk model. Will be involved in drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad variety of contract documents relating to software licensing, consulting, facilities, maintenance and numerous other critical business functions. Will also assist with the drafting and negotiation of real estate lease agreements and other contract documents in support of the Companys revenue-producing products and services. Responsibilities: Draft, review, edit and negotiate vendor contracts and related documents to facilitate the procurement of third-party services on behalf of RealPage. Crate new forms, and revise existing forms, of standardized vendor contracts to promote uniformity across certain categories of third-party vendors. Liaise directly between the Procurement and Legal Departments to manage, facilitate, track and ensure efficient processing of a large volume of vendor contracts. Develop and improve processes for managing large volume of vendor contracts. Provide legal advice to senior management, and serve as point person with the Legal Department, for vendor contract-related issues and questions. Research legal issues related to landlord tenant law, multifamily residential property law, student housing, affordable/tax credit properties, and single-family housing in support of Company residential lease product; draft related legal content and supplemental addenda. 10+ years experience drafting and editing complex commercial contracts, ideally through a combination of law firm and in-house experience (especially working with, or for, the procurement department of a multi-national company) is required. Juris Doctor from an accredited law school with strong academics; state license in good standing is required. Experience developing processes and procedures relating to vendor contract review is required. Excellent commercial contract comprehension, drafting and verbal negotiation skills - capable of, and comfortable with, engaging with external legal counsel on a variety of legal topics.
