Associate Corporate Counsel

Associate Corporate Counsel The candidate will draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts including professional services agreements, consulting agreements, vendor contracts, and construction contracts in support of all of the company s commercial functions. Advise on contract status, legal risks, and the legal liabilities associated with different deals/acquisitions. Research and anticipate unique legal issues that could impact the company. Provide training to company employees on various legal topics. Collaborate and work as part of a team with business leaders and other departments to provide creative solutions to business issues while eliminating or minimizing legal risks. Assist with contracts and other commercial disputes that may arise. Handle day to day legal issues that arise and develop, review and revise various policies, processes, templates, and forms. The candidate must have a law degree (Juris Doctor). Should have 2+ years of legal experience, including in-house or corporate/transactional law. Ability to partner effectively with our resorts in a collaborative environment to understand and achieve stated business objectives within tight deadlines and with minimal supervision. Influential, with the ability to become a trusted, visible resource for our resorts. An effective communicator with members of the legal department, leadership team, and our resorts management team. Contribute to business decisions with convincing advice and who can express information clearly and in a manner appropriate for the audience. Ability to assess the impact of advice on the business and foresee consequences. Willing and able to take on new challenges. A team player who is able to work with colleagues to improve team effectiveness while contributing own ideas. Cost-conscious and aware of budget implications of decisions. Committed to personal development and continuous learning. Able to handle confidential information and data requiring the highest degree of attention to preserving confidentiality. Exhibit a high degree of professional ethics and integrity.
