Corporate Counsel

Corporate Counsel The candidate will primarily represent and be responsible for all legal matters at company's industrial division. Primary workload will involve contracting, risk management, project team support, and claims. Will work at the corporate level and directly report to the Chief Legal Officer. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts of various types including, but not limited to, prime contracts, maintenance agreements, purchase orders, subcontracts, joint venture agreements, letters of intent, consulting agreements, and other transactions that arise from companys business. Perform legal due diligence, records searches, and legal research. Work proactively in conjunction with various departments to identify and address legal and business issues.

The candidate should have J.D. and 4+ years of practical experience. Should have major law firm experience. Construction industry experience will be preferred. Should have strong academic credentials, strong technical, organizational, and communication skills, both oral and written. Able to meet the high expectations of a demanding work environment while maintaining independence and objectivity. Able to work autonomously, efficiently, and proactively on multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining a commitment to quality. Should be sharp, resourceful, dedicated individual with strong work ethic. Should have High emotional intelligence with the ability to relate to a diverse workforce. Should have desire to constantly grow and learn.
