Corporate Counsel The candidate will Work with a team of attorneys engaged in the drafting of legal documents and the negotiation of such agreements specifically including hotel management agreements subordination non-disturbance and attornment agreements cash management agreements and other related agreements. Ability to draft and negotiate amendments termination agreements and side letter agreements related to existing hotel management agreements. Assist in maintaining legal document forms database and update hotel management agreement and other forms as needed to comply with company standards and legal or regulatory changes. Ability to review joint venture and key money agreements and participate in negotiation of same. Responsible for coordinating activities with external counsel including international local counsel when applicable. Oral and written communication skills are required. Ability to build collaborative relationships are required. Ability to influence others are required. Ability to review joint venture and key money agreements and participate in negotiation of same are required. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of experience. JD and a license to practice law are required. Contributes to strategic planning direction and goal setting for the legal department are required. Ability to develop and mentor others are required. Oral and written communication skills are required. Ability to build collaborative relationships are required. Ability to influence others are required.
