Corporate/Commercial Counsel Duties: Hit the ground running with autonomy.Manage a high volume of all vendor contracts between and outside vendors, suppliers and service providers. Highly effective in reviewing, negotiating, and drafting all in-bound vendor contracts. Build trust and confidence with stakeholders across internal teams. Develop and implement a vendor tracking and management system to improve efficiency in the contracts process and life cycle. Experience: Should have 5+ years at a major law firm or in-house at tech company or financial institutions. Experience in reviewing, negotiating, drafting, and managing a wide range of commercial contracts with vendors and service providers, including vendor agreements, suppliers, procurement, SaaS, cloud services, in-bound products licenses or services agreement, third-party tools, contractors, NDAs, and technology licensing agreements. JD from a major law school and admitted to a state bar. Industry experience in fintech, financial services, software, SaaS, or cloud services is a plus. Contract Specialist who enjoys and excels at reviewing and negotiating vendors and other commercial agreements. Strong analytical problem solver that uses good legal and business judgment to help create practical business solutions. A good communicator who can negotiate effectively with external parties as well as interpret and explain complex contractual requirements and associated risks to internal business stakeholders. A team player who can work in a distributed team environment in multiple offices and collaborate with cross-functional teams in legal, compliance, information security, product, engineering, finance, and marketing. Working knowledge in fintech, financial regulations, data protection, information security, privacy, intellectual property, and SaaS is a plus.
