General Counsel Employment The candidate will cost effectively manage and direct outside counsel, including taking the lead in developing strategy and tactics for complex employee litigation matters. Handle smaller employment litigation matters directly. Draft and review, and suggest improvements to labor and employment, immigration and other related policies, procedures and guidelines. Provide due diligence on labor related aspects of mergers and acquisitions. Support and contribute to HR Legal team's annual objectives, the Company and Human Resource teams initiatives, and work on continuous improvement of our policies and processes. Assist in development and implementation of employment and labor-related company policies and programs. Review all reduction in force and employee terminations. Be a business partner, driving business growth through different forms of negotiation. Be aware of cognizant of risk - but help the business achieve its objectives. Participate in, review, and lead all levels of Business Conduct reviews. Perform due diligence on compensation reviews to ensure there is no adverse impact. Be a leading voice on diversity and how we can drive it better HON wide. Should have Juris Doctor. Should be admitted to US bar. Should have 7 + years of experience practicing labor and employment.
