Labor & Employment/compliance Counsel

Labor & Employment/Compliance Counsel The candidate will be primary resource for all labor and employment matters. Assisting with the development of appropriate policies and procedures; and counseling regarding an array of labor and employment law matters, including accommodations, discipline, compensation, ethics, compliance, union/represented relations and grievances, collective bargaining, and fair labor and equal employment requirements. Providing advice regarding the various federal and state whistleblower laws including but not limited to OFCCP, WARN, OSHA, ERISA, NLRB, Mandatory disclosures, False Claims Act, conflicts of interests, data protection, and non-competes. Preparing responses to EEOC and state employment agency discrimination charges and other types of employment-related claims. Monitoring state and federal employment legislation and governmental agency enforcement priorities and providing related advice.

The candidate should have a bachelor's degree and 8-12 years of experience; advanced degrees are typically preferred at this level. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Commitment to ethical behavior. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to travel. Ability to obtain a security clearance.
