Corporate Counsel Duties: Responsible for legal oversight of the Company's general liability claims and litigation. Act as a generalist, handling a variety of issues arising out of the Company's many business operations, including reviewing and drafting a wide variety of contracts, assisting with administering the Company's Contract Management System, and managing the Company's Records Retention Program. Advise internal clients and senior management on legal risks related to many areas of law and develop strategies to mitigate those risks commensurate with the Company's business objectives. Provide all facets of legal counsel to the Company's diverse hospitality and entertainment operations. Manage the Company's general liability claims and litigation, which includes evaluating the potential liability and risk exposure from claims; submitting claims and related information to the Company's third party administrator; assisting with claim investigations; preparation of litigation hold notices and releases; reviewing legal filings; compiling information to respond to discovery requests; witness preparation; and attending depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials. Perform analysis on claims and litigation history to provide guidance to internal clients regarding reduction of future liability and risk. Provide regular incident investigation and documentation training and counsel for the Company's Safety and Security team members, Managers on Duty, and other employees and departments as necessary. Review, draft, and negotiate a heavy volume and a wide variety of contracts, including entertainment, sales, technology, and maintenance and service contracts. Assist with administering the Company's contract management system (CMS), including setting up and updating workflows, reports, and contract templates. Support users of the CMS through training and troubleshooting. Through CMS audits and the close-out process, ensure contract reviews, approvals, and execution follow policies. Collaborate with contract owners to assure all documentation and information is complete. Collaborate with the Company's finance department on collection issues, including preparation of demand letters. Respond to subpoenas; monitor bankruptcy filings and notices; and review and respond to class action notices. Manage the Company's Record Retention Program. Provide ongoing support and guidance to employees to ensure compliance with the program. Conduct research on a wide variety of issues.

Requirements: Must have a JD Degree from accredited law school. Must have current Bar membership. Must have 5+ years relevant experience. Self-starter with a willingness and ability to assume a generalist in-house role. Ability to prioritize, coordinate, and satisfy numerous competing demands and successfully achieve deadline-driven results that effectively achieve business objectives. Excellent contract review, drafting, and negotiating skills. Strong business acumen, problem solving skills, and legal judgment, with emphasis on confidentiality and personal integrity. General litigation experience preferred. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high volume environment. Must possess exceptional organizational skills. Solid team player with superior interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate and deal effectively with others. Excellent writing and speaking skills. Must be adept at using Word and other standard office programs.
