Insurance Defense Attorney, Windshield/Glass The candidate will be handling own cases from beginning to end, will also prepare legal pleadings, motions, statements, and be involved in negotiating settlements. Will work closely with our claims team to ensure all appropriate defenses are leveraged to reach positive outcomes.

The candidate should have Juris Doctorate degree. Member of the Bar in jurisdiction(s) served by specific House Counsel office. Should have 2+ years general/auto civil litigation experience. Arbitration, appraisal, breach of contract and previous court room experience preferred. Time management, organizational skills, ability to prioritize workload, working with an electronic diary and Microsoft Excel. Listening, verbal and written communication skills. Effective as a team member or working independently. Ability to identify risk. Can work effectively with clients and customers. Ability to negotiate on behalf of clients. Understanding of all applicable ethical duties. Ability to pay attention to detail. Capable of conducting research.
