Senior Director, Global Employment Counsel Responsibilities: Provide legal counsel and strategic direction for issues, including: employee relations, performance management, internal investigations, compensation, payroll, employee benefits, immigration & mobility, equity, recruiting & hiring compliance, restrictive covenants /conflicts of interest, confidential information & data loss issues, internal communications, DE&I programs, employment records, policies and programs, leaves of absence & medical/accommodation, employment law compliance & training, workplace health & safety, contingent and PEO workforce, corporate M&A, restructuring and reductions-in-force Ensure compliance with all applicable employment practices laws, rules and regulations. Provide strategic legal counsel and risk management advice to executive leadership team, Chief People Officer and People team on a wide variety of HR and employment practices matters. Lead the Legal team's efforts in the preparation, implementation, and refinement of labor and employment-related policies, procedures, guidelines, tools, programs, and forms. Represent and defend the company as necessary in front of applicable employment regulatory and enforcement authorities. Counsel management and the People team on new or pending legislation, laws, rules and regulations, and industry developments and trends that affect the company and its operations. Efficiently manage outside employment counsel with an eye toward minimizing outside counsel expense and meeting budget. Provide substantive support for the rest of the Legal team including strategic transactions and other ad hoc projects as needed. Provide reports and supervision to the General Counsel and senior management on compliance issues.

Qualifications: JD Degree with a strong academic record, and membership in good standing in at least one state Bar. 10+ years of relevant employment law experience. Demonstrated ability to provide sound and practical advice and counsel on all aspects of employment law. Experience leading and managing a team of employment attorneys supporting a global workforce. Experience with all aspects of employment litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery (including e-discovery and depositions) and mediations/settlement conferences. Experience directing workplace investigations. Experience managing a budget and controlling outside counsel spend. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. Excellent analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to translate complex legal concepts into
