Corporate/in-house Attorney

Corporate/In-House Attorney Duties: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts across all areas of the company, including, non-disclosure, consulting, service, employment, and commercial contracts. Facilitate internal contract approval and stakeholder negotiation to resolve complex issues and assist in disputes (escalating complex legal and factual issues to the appropriate internal parties). Communicate with business units ensuring all obligations are being met (e.g., milestones, deliverables, invoicing, etc.). Interpret and advise on contract requirements, obligations, customer resolutions, and risk exposure. Handle depositions as a corporate representative. Prepare pleadings, discovery, demands, and responses. Handle any legal business outside of the Company and candidates must cease all outside practice and all suit involvement.

Qualifications: JD Degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school required. Preferably 3-5 years of in-house counsel experience. A background in operations, engineering, or labor/construction a plus. Experience in a corporate business environment. Ability to deliver strong results with limited resources, under tight deadlines, and with a high degree of accuracy. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information. Team player capable of leading and participating within cross-functional project teams to meet key milestones under tight timelines and stressful conditions. Accountability, adaptability, communication, and integrity.
