Litigation & Regulatory Attorney Responsibilities: Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times; Reviews and advises Company personnel on environmental and commercial issues and disputes, corresponds with outside counsel on such disputes; Reviews and manages Company's environmental liabilities, including Federal and State Superfund liabilities; Reviews notices of violation issued by regulatory authorities, work with Company personnel and/or outside counsel to respond to and defend against the same; Reviews document requests and audit requests by regulatory authorities or other third parties and compiles responses to the same; Manages outside counsel and assists outside counsel in gathering information needed to protect the Company's interests; Conducts legal investigations with respect to pending claims and other matters; Conducts research and prepares legal briefs and memoranda on legal issues; Anticipates and guards against legal risks involving the Company; Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the business.

Qualifications: JD Degree and admitted to a state bar. MA state Bar preferred; 1+ years experience in-house or firm litigation experience preferred; Must have strong verbal and writing skills. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, writing and communication skills; Strong PC skills, knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook a plus; Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and/or ongoing direction; Willingness to perform moderate travel as and when required; Able to perform multiple tasks, work on short lead times and meet tight deadlines; Proficient in Westlaw; Able to perform general office skills; Always requires speaking and listening, and acuity.
