Director, Real Estate Counsel Duties: Leases and related legal documentation's uch as modifications, terminations,'s NDA's , and's ubleases for new and existing's tores, corporate offices, and other facilities. Vendor contracts's uch as brokerage, consulting, architecture and construction agreements. Thoughtfully review and interpret leases for existing's tore fleet and corporate facilities in order to counsel business partners in real estate, retail, construction, architecture and design, operations, facilities, and accounting in day-to-day real estate operations. Monitor critical lease deadlines's uch as termination and renewal options and collaborate with business partners to execute real estate's trategy . Assist with management and resolution of disputes with landlords including litigation and arbitration when necessary. Contribute efforts toward global cost's avings initiatives's uch as lease audits. Oversee outside counsel and assist in's upervising, training and mentoring paralegal's taff. Qualifications: JD Degree with excellent law's chool credentials. 2-4 years as an attorney in transactional commercial real estate practice,'s pecifically with experience in's ophisticated commercial leasing. Prioritize and multi-task many competing projects in a fast-paced environment. Work independently or collaboratively as circumstances dictate.'s how initiative, take ownership and follow up on matters from inception to completion.'s trong attention to detail. Demonstrate professionalism, exercise discretion, and maintain's trict confidentiality. Quickly grasp new concepts and's olve problems. Professionally and confidently communicate across various functions and levels inside and outside the organization.
