Senior Manager/Associate Director, Contracts Counsel Duties: Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret a high volume and wide range of agreements, including clinical trial, confidentiality, material transfer, services, consulting, and sponsored research agreements. Provide legal support on contracts and help improve, evolve and optimize the contracting process. Work with compliance to facilitate contract review and implement compliance contracts processes. Serve as key reviewer for contracting activities associated with global Phase 3 drug development. Provide other legal support of company activities from time to time based on interest and company need.

Qualifications: JD Degree from an accredited law school in the U.S. and license to practice law and in good standing in Massachusetts, or ability to register as in-house counsel in Massachusetts. 3-7+ years of relevant contracts experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry and/or equivalent law firm experience required. Experience negotiating and drafting contracts common to biopharmaceutical companies, such as clinical trial, confidentiality, material transfer, services, consulting, and sponsored research agreements, and ability to lead contract negotiations. Ability to multitask and manage multiple small to large projects in a cross-functional environment. Outstanding interpersonal skills to effectively establish and maintain business relationships at all levels of the company and in the legal community.
