Corporate Counsel

Corporate Counsel Duties: Efficiently and effectively negotiate commercial SaaS licensing agreements on behalf of the company. Work directly with sales reps to accurately translate commercial terms into contracts that maximize our revenue within the construct of our licensing models. Manage and optimizes contract and workflow systems including updating documents and information in Salesforce to enable a smooth sales process and speed to close. Develop and mentor a team into critical thinkers, capable of working confidently and independently. Continually look to Improve processes and automation across the contract management lifecycle. Review and negotiate commercial contracts on behalf of the company with our vendors. Performs other related duties as required and assigned. Qualifications: 7-10 years of working on Sales related Contracts and an understanding of contract language and its impact. Experience with Salesforce and DocuSign (preferred). SaaS license experience a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships. Highly motivated, collaborative and possessing an entrepreneurial mindset. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Flexible, agile and open minded with a positive attitude. Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and adhere to deadlines. Ability to work well under moderate supervision. Proficient in MS Office. High ethical standards with a high degree of confidentiality. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple, often competing deliverables while managing expectations and meeting deadlines. Ability to provide extended hours of support during end-of month and end-of quarter sales-cycle closes. Willingness to learn SaaS and IaaS. A drive to innovate, support our teammates and clients, and treat everyone fairly and respectfully. Ability to enable and embrace change.
