Corporate Contracts Counsel Duties: Drafting, evaluating, and negotiation of the legal terms and conditions of a variety of contracts including, technology and intellectual property related contracts, vendor contracts, real estate leases, non-disclosure agreements, and other contracts; evaluating all applicable data protection and privacy compliance matters as they relate to such contracts, providing a legal analysis of the associated risks, and rendering related advice to address, manage and mitigate the risks identified. Will also assist in the proper use of the tools, resources, and materials necessary for contract administration. The work ranges from basic to complex and requires sound experience in contract law, data protection and privacy law, professional services, technology and software licenses, contract drafting, intellectual property and the negotiation of multiple and large complex deals. In addition to the primary focus on contractual matters, this role is also responsible for providing support in a wide range of in-house legal services on an as-needed basis and presents a great opportunity to work with our different business teams and other members of the legal team. Coordinating with various teams, business partners, and members of leadership while working remotely. Requirements: JD Degree from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association. Membership in a State Bar as an attorney qualified to practice law in any US state. Good standing with the State Bar including being current on individual state Continuing Legal Education requirements. 6+ years of relevant experience within an in-house legal department or a law firm. Prior in-house experience is preferred. Experience with G-Suite and CONGA a plus. Experience translating the law to something service people or a business person can take action on. In-house experience. Experienced with contract life-cycle management system. Ability to work flexibly across all US time zones and, occasionally, international time zones, and juggle multiple internal clients across multiple time zones. Extreme attention to detail and stellar follow through.
