Corporate Counsel Duties: Identify, manage and assist in the resolution of legal issues in a manner consistent with the company's business philosophy and strategy, and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Create and update vendor contract templates to meet evolving business objectives, minimize friction and protect Enterprise Holdings and Enterprise Fleet Management's interests. Draft, review, edit and negotiate contracts to which the company is a party, including master service agreements, goods purchase agreements, amendments, solicitations and other legal documents and ensure that they properly protect the company's interests and objectives. Review contracts to confirm various departments are utilizing key templates. Prepare best practices and enhance training materials and disclosures. Provide timely and accurate interpretations of the various laws and regulations affecting the organization's businesses to senior management and operating personnel; keep them apprised of the types of action that require legal consideration and provide internal guidance regarding potential legal risk. Monitor and keep management and operating personnel abreast of the existence and impact of judicial and regulatory developments affecting potential legal exposures and compliance obligations of the company. Provide ongoing guidance and consultation regarding potential and actual disputes. Partner with assigned functional areas and operating units to help drive Fleet Management s; and. Partner with the Supply Chain Management, Daily Rental and Enterprise Fleet Management teams to help execute on their strategies.

Qualifications: Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school required. Admission and good standing with the bar in Missouri or one state bar in the United States with the ability to get a limited license to practice in-house in Missouri required. Broad generalist skill set with the ability to independently research and analyze issues required. Drafting and negotiation of contracts experience required with experience with technology contracts. Must have 5 years or more of relevant experience in a business law firm or in a corporate law department (or seven (7) years post qualification for EU or UK) with a proven record of professional excellence and achievement required. Basic understanding of privacy and data security law a plus. Previous Westlaw experience required. Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office products required (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future. Collaborative skills set and work ethic a must.
