Legal Counsel - Real Estate Duties: Negotiating and drafting office and retail leases, purchase and sale agreements, design, construction and other agreements, for a variety of real estate projects and services, in the United States and beyond; Working with outside counsel and internal retail, facilities, finance, corporate, energy, mergers and acquisition, hardware, litigation and tax departments in connection with real estate-related transactions and issues; and Advising in connection with land use, governmental approvals and permits, litigation related to facilities, real estate aspects of mergers and acquisitions and a variety of other real estate-related matters.

Qualifications: JD Degree or equivalent, excellent academic credentials, and admission to at least one US state Bar required. 5-8 years of relevant experience to join Apple's Real Estate Law organization. Experience with international transactions and renewable energy transactions preferred. Strong verbal, writing and presentation skills. Ability to drive transactions. Ability to focus and cut through complexity to distill the most important issues. Ability to make and own hard calls. Ability to see both forest and trees. Comfortable with ambiguity. Comfortable with playing a supporting role. Strong leadership skills. Strong individual contributor who thrives in a team environment. Fluency in a second language is a plus.
