Senior Manager Senior Counsel Contracts & Global Supply Chain Responsibilities: Draft, review and negotiate procurement, supply chain and IS contracts and manage contracts related policies and procedures. Develop contract templates, guidelines and training materials in support of the Legal Department's efforts to empower its clients with self-service tools Provide support for Hershey's Contract Lifecycle Management Project Provide training and design processes to enhance the effectiveness of the self-service tools that the Legal Department offers to increase their decision and execution velocities. Proactively research and report on changes in relevant laws, regulations and industry standards and track emerging trends. Provide sound, pragmatic legal advice and innovative/creative solutions on a wide range of procurement, supply chain and IS matters in a manner that facilitates delivery of business results. Contribute to an environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve both their individual and team contributions to achieve business results. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and JD Degree from accredited law school required. Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania or the ability to obtain a limited corporate counsel license in Pennsylvania. 7+ years of experience, with a preference for successful experience working in-house and/or a well-regarded law firm. Experience with the consumer-packaged goods industry is preferred. Substantial experience with supply chain, procurement and IS agreements and transactions. Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence. Ability to operate autonomously as well as work collaboratively and build trust with other members of an interdisciplinary legal team and internal clients at all relevant levels within the company. Demonstrated strong planning, organizational, analytical, and written and oral communications skills. Sound professional judgment and strong business acumen. High energy team player that is client-focused, flexible and adaptable to manage and lead change. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines, balance competing priorities and still contribute thoughtful and high-quality work product. Demonstrate passion for learning and self-improvement. High degree of professionalism and integrity with ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
