Contracts Attorney Responsibilities: Review, draft and negotiate complex commercial contracts with clients, partners, subcontractors, and vendors, including master services agreements, SOWs, NDAs, supply chain agreements, licensing agreements, managed service agreements, technology agreements (SaaS), and similar contracts. Create, revise, and maintain contract templates, policies, and related documentation. Provide day-to-day legal counsel to all levels of management on contract negotiation, dispute resolution, and compliance matters. Frequently advise on performance issues and available contractual remedies. Act as a legal liaison between outside legal counsel for all contract issues. Support the Law Department by recommending and implementing a contract lifecycle management process, including the development of contracting standards applicable to the organization to achieve organization-wide consistency. Research, evaluate, and make recommendations for contract management products and other legal technology tools to streamline legal processes. Assist with resolving litigation matters, including working with outside counsel assigned to litigation matters. Assist in implementing performance improvement processes to better serve the organization. Support business partners in negotiations with clients. Monitor federal, state, and local legal developments and advise business partners on recommended compliance. Support the legal department's overall goal of increasing organizational efficiency and achievement of business objectives in a manner that minimizes legal risk. Supportive of greater legal team; perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications: JD Degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Licensed to practice law and in good standing in Colorado. 2+ years of experience of relevant corporate legal experience as in-house counsel with 2+ years of contract experience required. Ability to manage multiple matters and changing priorities while completing projects effectively and efficiently in a timely and accurate manner. Excellent communication (oral and written), organization, analytical and interpersonal skills. Possess a keen attention to detail and sound judgment; ability to think critically, make and articulate well-reasoned recommendations. Ability to clearly communicate complex concepts to internal clients and external parties. Ability to counsel internal clients on the risks associated with various options and to present creative solutions to difficult problems to achieve the desired business outcome while appropriately managing risk. Performance-driven with good business sense, a strong work ethic, and a sense of urgency, honesty, and fairness. Experience with litigation and the management of discovery a big plus, or desire to learn litigation management also a plus. Experience writing a variety of demand letters. Collaborative nature and collegial attitude; calm under pressure. Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to be respectful, approachable, and team-oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment. Consistent discretion, good judgment, and the ability to maintain appropriate confidentiality. Keen attention to detail. Proficient in using standard office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe Reader. Ability to meet HSS's driving requirements and maintain a valid driver's license.
