Senior Corporate Counsel

Senior Corporate Counsel The candidate will act as a subject matter expert for complex environmental matters and be a key resource for driving the overall legal framework for environmental compliance. Provide legal advice, creatively solve problems, and guide internal business clients in managing environmental compliance associated with the Clean Water Act (CWA), Emergency Planning Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA), and Clean Air Act (CAA) and other state and federal environmental laws and regulations. Evaluate compliance and contamination related risks and advise internal clients and transactional attorneys regarding strategies for resolution in real estate transactions.

The candidate must have JD Degree and 7+ years of experience. Must have strong understanding of environmental laws, environmental compliance programs, and commercial real estate transactions, as well as a demonstrated ability to recognize and weigh business and legal risks, think strategically and advance practical solutions. Must have customer-oriented interpersonal skills, excellent business judgment, and a proven ability to excel working with multiple clients in a fast-paced environment are also required. Must be detail-oriented and have the aptitude for, and a strong motivation to obtain, a deep and broad knowledge of the telecom industry. Experience working in-house combined with prior law firm experience is desired. Knowledge of OSHA regulations a plus.
