Real Estate Attorney

Real Estate Attorney The candidate will draft, negotiate, review and finalize tenant's transactional retail real estate documents, including letters of intent, amendments, leases, purchase agreements and related documents, and other general corporate documents. Assist with the development, maintenance, and control of protocols, strategies and contract templates for real estate leasing, development and construction. Assist in facilitating input from various constituents regarding variances from established standards. Assist in processing and tracking agreements. Assist with contract issue resolution. Conduct a broad range of real estate related project due diligence, including reviewing title reports and obtaining title insurance policies and endorsements. Provide support to the project development team to secure necessary governmental and other stakeholder approvals for new projects. Maintain knowledge and expertise in cutting edge real estate leasing, development, construction and procurement law concepts and practices.

The candidate must have Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited U.S. law school. Must have 5 years of strong commercial retail real estate experience. Retail Real Estate Developer experience a plus. Must have substantial experience in drafting and negotiating commercial retail leases. Must have experience in closing purchases, sales and financing transactions relative to commercial properties. Litigation experience a plus.
