Litigation And Regulatory Counsel

Litigation and Regulatory Counsel The candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of potential litigation and investigations, including responding to subpoenas and discovery, creating and analyzing investigative plans; interviewing and preparing witnesses; and negotiating and drafting settlements. Directly support smaller claims and arbitrations and supervise outside counsel on any larger matters. Conduct internal investigations into allegations of violations of the Code of Conduct, Company policies or law. Manage investigations end-to-end, including intake meetings, background research, investigative interviews, and debrief meetings with Company leadership. Help develop litigation strategy and devise scalable processes and procedures to ensure the litigation function scales with business. Partner closely with internal teams, including other members of the legal department, risk, and compliance and related teams. Advise on legal, regulatory, and industry requirements relevant to the healthcare sector. Analyze the impact of new applicable rules and regulations. Advise business teams on legal issues and risks by employing practical business judgment and identifying actual practical risk. Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate legal risks. Should have J.D degree from an accredited law school along with 3-5 years of litigation experience at a leading law firm or in-house legal department. Must have experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
