Litigation Counsel

Litigation Counsel Duties: Help across the organization as business needs require. Drive litigation strategy and implement the same. Lead internal investigations, respond to subpoenas and engage with enforcement agencies, and counsel the business on reducing litigation risks. Supervise and partner with outside counsel.

Qualifications: JD degree and membership in at least one U.S. state Bar. 7+ years of experience at a government agency, leading law firm or in-house legal experience at a technology, fin tech, or financial services company. Experience handling complex litigation matters and the ability to expeditiously identify and analyze issues and provide legally sound recommendations. Experience responding to subpoenas. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with consistently high-quality work product in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively and work collaboratively with individuals at all levels. High attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Excellent business, writing, negotiation, and oral presentation skills. Collaborative and team-oriented who is excited by new projects, isn t afraid to ask/answer questions, and is always a resource to others on the team.
