Corporate / In-House Counsel Responsibilities: Assist Leadership in structuring, drafting, and negotiating agreements on behalf of the company (Professional Service Agreements, Memorandums of Understanding, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Vendor/Client Agreements, Consultants, Change Orders, RFPs). Provide primary legal advice and support for LA Studio and global offices as needed. Manage company's intellectual property portfolio (trademarks, copyrights, and patents). Maintain corporate books, including drafting all corporate consents, resolutions, and meeting minutes. Facilitating corporate strategic initiatives. Writing and executing agreements and contracts. Offering counsel on a variety of legal issues. Advising executives within the company. Working alongside other departments within the company. Advising on contract status, legal risks, and the legal liabilities associated with different deals. Researching and anticipating unique legal issues that could impact the company. Reviewing advertising and marketing materials to ensure that they are in compliance with legal requirements. Work with Human Resources and outside firms to review and update employment agreements and employee manual(s) to ensure that they are in compliance with legal requirements. Manage specialized external legal firms for specific legal issues. Providing training to the company on legal topics. Manage company insurance program.

Requirements: JD Degree and membership in good standing in at least one state bar (CA preferred). Must have 5+ years of experience gained in a large law firm and/or in-house with a major firm. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all organizational levels. Strong negotiating skills with both legal and financial/commercial issues. Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships within the organization's legal department and across all businesses. Ability to work independently with little or no supervision. Submit a resume detailing experience.
