Litigation Attorney - Director Responsibilities: Conduct factual and legal diligence on potential investment opportunities. Oversee external law firms, investigators, and other professionals assisting with investment diligence. Assist in the management and tracking of Delta's investment pipeline. Input and manage Delta's proprietary litigation finance data and underwriting metrics. Collaborate with attorneys and other professionals working on Delta's funded investments. Cultivate and grow relationships with law firms, in-house legal departments, and other professional service firms. Assist in developing informational and business development content related to litigation finance and areas of unique expertise. Qualifications: Must have 5+ years of legal experience as a litigation attorney at a top US law firm with significant hands-on experience. Bar membership is required. The ideal candidate will have specific experience working plaintiff-side litigation, but this is not required. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in U.S. commercial litigation, but candidates with experience in international litigation, arbitration, and/or judgment enforcement will be given preference. Ability to identify and assess complicated legal and financial issues, present them clearly, and propose solutions. Excellent communication (verbal and written), drafting, and negotiating skills. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to consistently prioritize, coordinate and satisfy numerous competing demands and successfully achieve deadline-driven results.A team player with strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to collaborate and deal effectively with others, including senior management, peers, support staff, and internal clients. Proficiency with Salesforce (or analogous CRM systems) preferred.
