Senior Corporate Counsel

Senior Corporate Counsel Responsibilities: Work extensively with many functions and areas of the Company in an effort to understand both business goals and corporate risk, and to implement business solutions in the best interest of the Company. Will be tasked, as needed, with a variety of responsibilities to support the legal needs of any area of the Company, working independently or under the General Counsel based on the project. Will be responsible for supporting the overall pipeline of contracts for the Company and its US and international subsidiaries, including: drafting templates; drafting, reviewing, and negotiating corporate contracts; managing the contracting process; and determining contract priority and staffing. Will be expected to approach his or her work with a customer-focus and a results-driven attitude.

Qualifications: JD Degree from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 accredited law school and membership in good standing of any bar association; 5+ years' relevant legal experience including significant time with an AmLaw 100 firm and strong experience with contracting.. Must be a self-starter, team player, be able to work independently, be comfortable handling a wide variety of legal matters, and have a strong work ethic. Preference given to prior in-house experience, and particularly experience in the biotechnology, medical device, pharmaceutical, or other life science industry. Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills is required.
