Contracts Counsel

Contracts Counsel Responsibilities: Support the worldwide legal team in the negotiation of various commercial contracts, including Software as a Service (SaaS) agreements, software license agreements, confidentiality agreements, support and services, partner, and other purchasing agreements; Assist with generating responses for requests for proposals, requests for information, and other similar inquiries; Contribute to training company staff responsible for supporting standard agreement reviews and compliance processes; Assist with legal department projects as assigned, including efforts to develop, implement and drive process-oriented improvements; Provide general day-to-day legal advice; and Carry out or assist with other related duties, as needed.

Qualifications: JD Degree from an accredited US law school. Admitted to the Bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and in good standing. 1-2 years of relevant legal experience (preferably in an in-house setting). Experience with commercial transactions involving Software as a Service is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage legal risks for complex commercial transactions. Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills. Able to prioritize multiple projects and be service oriented in a fast-paced environment. Able to work and communicate effectively. Able to work as part of a team and support multiple in-house counsel, compliance and operations teams with business-oriented advice. Sense of humor, a commitment to professionalism, and exceptional judgment.
