Associate Corporate Counsel, Global Trade (Sanctions) The candidate's responsibilities include performing legal research, providing legal and risk analysis, drafting guidance documents, regulatory submissions, and correspondence, managing internal data collection/review projects, developing and implementing processes to simplify or automate recurring tasks, and coordinating with compliance professionals and other legal partners.

The candidate should have strong academic credentials, including a J.D. degree from an accredited law school, and membership in at least one state Bar. Should have 2 - 4 years of post-admission legal experience, with some portion of that experience at a law firm. Experience handling U.S. economic sanctions matters in a variety of contexts, including human resources, sourcing, shipping logistics, and customer transactions. Experience advising on restricted party screening and other internal controls related to economic sanctions compliance. Strong written and oral communication skills. Pragmatic and able to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous and challenging situations. Experience handling sanctions matters under non-U.S. legal regimes and advising on conflict of law issues related to sanctions compliance. Experience handling sanctions matters for entities in the e-commerce, payments, and/or financial services industries.
